International Women's Day

International Women's Day

International Women's Day, annually marked on 8th March, is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. International Women's Day (IWD) is one of the most important days of the year to celebrate ordinary women's achievements, raise awareness about women's equality, vouch for accelerated gender parity and fundraise for female-focused charities.

Alo Enlightened Women started it's journey through celebrating International Women's Day, ackowledging contributions of CALD women in soceity. Alo's aim is to Laugh, Learn and Liberate together. Since 2019, IWD event has been a fantastic way to celebrate women’s achievements and showcase CALD community women's culture,  acheivements and friendship .

In 2022, Alo will host it's signature flagship IWD event Alo - You Enlighten me  tentaively on March 26th.
